Funsavers: Looking East

The Delaware County Symphony  (DCS) opens the third full symphonic concert in the series with Symphony No. 2, "Antar" by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, followed by Horn Concerto by Reinhold Glière featuring guest soloist Jennifer Montone. Ms. Montone is Principal Horn of the Philadelphia Orchestra. She is a world acclaimed soloist, chamber musician and teacher, and has been on the faculties of the Curtis Institute of Music and the Juilliard School since joining the orchestra in 2006. The concert continues with Suite from Lieutenant Kijé by Sergei Prokofiev and concludes with Suite from Masquerade by Aram Khachaturian. The concert is under the baton of Joseph Caminiti, Music Director of the DCS.
